‍reporting

Compliant and readable

Producing a CSRD report is more than collecting data points. It calls for an organisation-wide process, a well-considered structure and a writing approach that reconciles compliance with readability. Pantarein supports you from the first round of data collection to final publication – with a report that satisfies the auditor and engages the stakeholders it is intended for.

What does CSRD reporting actually require?

A CSRD-compliant report is not something you put together in a couple of months. It is an organisation-wide process that demands a documented materiality assessment, reliable and traceable data, a governance structure with formal ownership, and an assurance process that touches the entire reporting process.

At the same time, we see that many first CSRD reports are technically correct but make little impact. They are long, dense and rarely inspiring. Many companies miss the opportunity to make the report work as a strategic instrument – towards investors, customers, employees and other stakeholders.

Pantarein believes compliance and communication should go hand in hand, with a report that is audit-ready and tells a story that is authentic, credible and compelling.

Who is this for?

  • Wave 2 companies that need to produce their first CSRD report and are looking for guidance from strategy through to publication
  • Wave 1 companies that want to strengthen their existing report – in substance, process or communication
  • Organisations that want to build their reporting capability in-house but need support on specific components
  • Companies that want to put their report to work more actively as a communication tool

Our approach

We guide you through the full reporting journey – or take ownership of specific components where you lack capacity or expertise.

  • Materiality assessment and scoping – We guide the double materiality assessment (DMA) or update an existing DMA in line with the revised European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The result is a documented, audit-ready scope that serves as the starting point for the entire report.
  • Data collection and validation – We structure the data-collection process per ESRS topic: who provides which information, through which system, at what frequency and with what quality control? We guide internal review rounds and help close data gaps before the audit phase.
  • Writing and structure – We write or edit the report in language that is accessible without sacrificing precision. We build a structure that guides the reader through the report – and that is also logical and verifiable for an auditor.
  • Communication and year-round storytelling – A report is a starting point, not an endpoint. We help you translate the strongest insights and stories from your report into communication that works year-round: for your website, your stakeholder engagement and your internal channels.
  • Assurance support – We prepare you for the assurance process by getting the documentation and methodologies in order, and remain closely involved throughout the audit process.

What does it deliver?

  • An audit-ready report: data are traceable, methodologies are documented, governance is clearly evidenced
  • A report that actually gets read: accessible, well-structured and engaging
  • Internal capacity-building: your teams learn the process and can build on it the following year
  • Strategic value: a report that pays off well beyond the reporting obligation – with investors, customers and lenders
  • On-time publication: a structured process prevents last-minute stress and delays in the assurance phase
